Question: is there anything better than Qwantz? Answer: of course not.
Why yes, you do have time to read the entire archive during your lunch break. And I can tell you from experience: don't forget to read the rollover text, or you'll have to read the whole archive a second time.
Have you read "Lost Side of Suburbia" by Kory Merritt? It is a daily comic told in children book form. It is about two children held by a monster who they change by reading him books such as "To Kill A Mockingbird". It is available at go.comics.com in the Sherpa section. You can start the story here:
what happen when you talk too fast (and too often) and force evolve English by combining words to abbreviate. Combreviations are dogs, bred to be likable, useful, and friendly, while most words come out of the natural selection of English. Sure, they may not be the fittest, but damn if everyone doesn't love them.
I still prefer Hark! A Vagrant by Kate Beaton.
